War dead.

Most of the people who die in wars are civilians, yet no mention is made of these people on Memorial Day. No mention is made either of the futile deaths of the millions of people who died fighting against the USA.

War is not remembered on Memorial Day as an abomination that envelopes humanity in horror to make people who profit from death and destruction rich. It is marketed with jingoistic symbols and lauded in the abstract as one's highest calling.

Memorial Day, especially in the hands of a warmonger like George Bush, is obscene and should be forgotten.
