Teach the history of capitalism.

Theocrats claim that religion-based explanations of biology should be thrust down the throats of American school children. Fine. School kids also deserve to know around what the "controversy" of class struggle revolves.

They should understand that transnational capital flows without controls are inherently inflationary, that inflation is staunched by increasing interest rates, which causes increased unemployment, so that international investors' profits are stabilized by workers' economic insecurity.

I am sure that school kids would find knowing about their parents' contribution to keeping the wealthy rich every bit as fascinating as that a white bearded man in the sky made the birds and fishes.
