Corporations' enjoying a windfall of reconstruction handouts, fleecing labor, and environmental plunder here at home offers the advantage over implementing a corporate welfare policy in Iraq of having had only to drown a few thousand people rather than necessitating killing tens of thousands with tanks and bombs.
