All day long I hear that undocumented workers are "willing to do the jobs Americans no longer want to do." Naturally this is a lie. Undocumented workers work for less than the minimum wage, without the occupational safety, workers' compensation, overtime pay and other protections legal status offers. Undocumented workers are desperate and are willing to be abused for a stale crust of bread -- just the way capitalists like their labor.
