Hydrogen not a panacea.

BushCo and their corporate cronies are pushing hydrogen because at bottom it is an extractive industry -- a cash cow -- and they are pushing it, not surprisingly, even though total emissions -- including production as well as consumption -- place it in a worse-case class by itself in relation to wind, solar, geothermal, and tidal sources of energy. Electric cars, less reliance on cars, and less energy use generally are the future. George Bush and the American ruling class are the past.
