Bush. Torture.

Editor,

When the Abu Ghraib scandal broke, George Bush predictably stated that he was "shocked" by the behavior of a few bad apples. Now he's working again, as he did when he opposed and then presumably nullified the McCain amendment with a signing statement, on excusing himself and his henchmen from Geneva Convention strictures against "outrages upon personal dignity." Has George Bush admitted to having ordered torture yet? Or is he "shocked" at the numerous steps he has taken to enable it?
