Editor,
John Lehman, obviously meaning well but, sadly, informed only with Likudnik-Bushnik propaganda, opined in your pages today that Iran "unleashed Hezbollah, its client terrorist organization, to attack Israel."
Mr. Lehman should visit Hassan Nasrallah personally, and he should visit Mahmoud Ahmadinejad personally -- and perhaps Bashar Al-Assad as well -- not to deliver an ultimatum and not to scold these men for assumed intrigues and offenses but to ask and listen to their answers to a short list of questions, say 10, to which Americans would appreciate having one straight answer -- no spin, no self-interested distortion or manipulation.
It's time someone started listening to all of the parties in the burgeoning war on our little planet, and Mr. Lehman seems capable of doing an honorable job of it.
