According to Jonathan Weisman, during a recent election cycle, "the NRCC pumped more than $1.2 million into [Dennis Hastert's] district" in the far Chicago suburbs. This is mentioned in passing with nary a shrug, business as usual in the so-called representative democracy of the United States of America. The pervasive criminality in Washington, D.C., and the utter lack of responsiveness to the will of the American people by the regime ensconced there begin and end with this practice by nation-wide criminal enterprises such as the NRCC of corrupting local electoral processes with large amounts of foreign capital for their own ends.
