Saakashvili must go, and with him must go the extraordinary build-up in offensive arms -- pouring into Georgia at 3 times the rate of any other nation on the planet -- provided primarily by the United States.

Neocon fantasies of Pax Americana via military domination have led to this, as have multinational oil companies' efforts to cut Russia out of the market for transporting Caspian oil.
