Editor,
Giant corporations are feudal, autocratic fiefdoms. If our government were not vassals of a few giant corporations, we would have, say, anti-trust laws that prevent monopolistic corporations from monopolizing political and economic power.
But Americans who still have a job are too lazy to change the way things are, and Americans who don't are too poor to think about anything except their next meal.
Which reminds me of the mountain of solicitations from charities begging me for 10 bucks from my mailbox while Goldman Sachs received, via AGI, 23 billion dollars of American taxpayers' money.
We have a wonderful constitution that is the envy of the world, and we have a ruling elite that are straight out of the Middle Ages.
