What government takeover?

President Obama went to great lengths in his speech to explain clearly and carefully that the health care reform he is seeking does not amount to a "government takeover of health care."

But the first words out of the mouth of that ex-heart doctor congressman who delivered the Republicans' silly "rebuttal" to the president's speech was that President Obama is proposing a "dangerous" plan for a "government takeover of health care."

Joe Wilson also claimed in his non-apology/fund-raising video that the president is pushing for a "government takeover of health care."

Why is no one with access to the airwaves calling these people out?
