Authoritarian motions in the homeland.

Editor,

Billions of dollars on wars, tens if not hundreds of thousands of deaths, alienating the world with torture, spying on American citizens, searching Americans trying to board planes, and one bozo with a bomb in his pants almost kills 300 people.

All the theater to demonstrate that we have the terrorists in our sights is a waste of everybody's time and blood and money. Smart, low-profile investigative work is all that is necessary to "detect and disrupt" terrorist plots.

The money wasted on wars and frisking innocent travelers would be better spent helping poor corners of the world become more prosperous and thus more friendly the USA. This is of course antithetical to the aims of our corporate masters, so poverty, hatred, wars, and authoritarian motions in our "homeland" will continue.
