Fundamentally flawed.

Editor,

The Obama administration's approach to lawmaking is fundamentally flawed. Lawmakers are not obligated to negotiate with offenders to define the particulars of an offense or the terms of punishment. Not everyone "deserves" a "seat at the table," but this is how the president has chosen to do business. Naturally he is bamboozled by people he shouldn't even be talking to. Why do giant corporations write the laws in the U.S.A.?
