Blindness, ignorance, and greed.

I want to make a clever comment, but I can't. I am disgusted. Has no one in the U.S.A., let alone in Washington, read a book about the history of anything? The fools that run American finance, American business, and the American government seem to be driven by hubris, ignorance, greed, and nothing else that I am able to discern.

I read "The Fixer" by Bernard Malamud this week. Are you unemployed and have some time on your hands? Check it out of the library. Then ask yourself what you do when blindness and arrogance motivate politics, the prisons, and the courts in your country and you would like to see that change.
