Editor,
American workers have been thrown overboard by multinational corporations. A few white people who own small businesses, or otherwise imagine themselves to be self-made in one way or another, or feel so superior to people of color -- or secular humanists -- that they feel the need to lecture everyone about "personal responsibility" and the "choices" one must make to prosper (as if one has a choice about what the corporations do), still have seats in the lifeboat. These are the Tea Baggers. They will be thrown overboard as well when big money no longer has a use for them -- when a middle class has been sufficiently bootstrapped in China to buy everything the corporations make. Then the Baggers' remaining assets will be stolen, and the Republican circus will leave town.
