Civil fascists?

One can hope that fear mongering and demonization of "liberals" will die down, but Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and other right-wing partisans have already stated unequivocally that they are doing nothing wrong. So the ball is in their court. I personally believe there is no way the right can argue calmly, honestly, and civilly for their agenda -- because fascism, which is what they stand for, flies in the face of the aspirations of their constituency -- but miracles have been known to occur.
