Muslim Brothers.

The Muslim Brothers are Sunni. Unlike Shia, Sunni are not organized around a hierarchy with a supreme ayatollah at its apex. The Muslim Brothers are not Islamist extremists, even though Islam is in their name. They have forsworn violence, present themselves as an opposition political party, and perceive themselves as operating within a political system. They want to participate in government, not blow things up.

The American public is drowning in fear and misinformation about Islam, Islamic politics, terrorism, the Quran, and all things Muslim. Fear and ignorance are the worst possible foundation upon which to base policy.
