The other 98%.

The question, if the vast majority of Americans will suffer when the Republicans' destructive economic plan is implemented, is who will benefit. The answer, obviously, is the 2% of American earners whose Bush tax cut extension the rest of us are paying for. Why do the Republicans care so much about this 2% and are in fact willing to destroy the other 98% on their behalf?
