Closer than I thought.

There is hope in the fact that independent voters who elected Republicans in the belief that they would straighten out our economy can see clearly now that Republicans are serious about no such thing.

Three wars fought off budget and on borrowed money; attacks on women's health, teachers, nurses, unions; attacks on Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security; more tax cuts for corporations and the rich.

I don't think this is what moderate voters thought they were voting for. If it is, then I guess we are closer to civil war than I thought.
