Republican ideologues are willing to shut down the government to force the vast majority of Americans who support a woman's righto to choose to capitulate to their medieval religious prejudice against abortion.

Tell you what, Republicans. Reinstate SCHIP funding to provide health care, Head Start funding, WIC funding, and all the other funding you religious fundamentalists oppose for living, breathing, born children, and we can talk about about your issues with abortion.

Meanwhile, could someone please explain what abortion has to do with "fiscal responsibility?"

And defunding Planned Parenthood, which provides cervical cancer screening and other reproductive health services for low-income women, is just about as cruel as all of the other cuts Republicans are proposing in order to stuff more billions into their supporters' pockets.
