Here is what Mr. Obama is up against: giant multinational corporations so flush with billions of political war-chest dollars after 30 years of off-shoring, deregulation, privatization, tax incentives, and tax loopholes that they can pay their "think" tank, FOX "News," and right-wing radio nattering nabobs of negativism to nip and nip and nip away his -- and every American's -- heels with their "Socialism! Socialism! Socialism! Socialism!" fascist war cry (yes, scapegoating socialism is a fascist tactic -- look it up) and other vile idiocy.

The intellectual goons the corporations hire to do their "theorizing," "science," "economics," and non-stop 1984-style propaganda they call "journalism" probably actually believe in the drivel big bucks provides their tiny minds a platform to up-chuck over any and every idea, proposal, or solution that Mr. Obama or anybody else suggests that government should undertake -- because the people who hire them do not want a government. They want to govern. For themselves. So that they can enslave the rest of the human race and wallow in unimaginable riches.

Read a book! Look who you are dealing with directly in their predatory eye when they tell you that EdCo International is going to teach your kids history, science, and economics. Look who you are dealing with when their genius henchmen tell you they are going to kick Grandma off of Social Security because Goldman Sachs will do a better job of taking care of her. Wake up, America.

Depressions are the fascists' closest friends. There go unions. There go immigrants. There go religious minorities. There goes habeus corpus. Here comes perpetual war, a police state, gulags and concentration camps for "Socialists!" and other enemies of the corporations. Who are all those madmen armed to the teeth with assault rifles going to protect? You? Wake up, America. The hour is getting late.
