On Republican sabotage.

If Republicans want to lead this country for the good of the nation, why on Earth would they do such terrible economic violence to it in order to be elected? Doesn't this tactic show that Republicans hate this country and the American people? Why else would they try to destroy it? And if they were to win unanimous control of the government, would they not make an even more concerted effort to destroy the United States and impoverish the American people?
