Tax the rich.

Pawning social needs off onto "faith based" charities -- and its attendant endless flood of pleas for donations in every mailbox in America -- is the neoliberal solution to "promoting the general welfare" while the criminals who own the United States stuff more and more of the wealth of this nation into their own pockets.

It is inevitable that religious nonsense would rub up against this con game creating conflict and disunity.

Tax the rich, for God's sake. Get money out of politics, and spend taxpayer dollars on something other than war, bank bailouts, and subsidies for our corporate masters.
