Incoherence.

After watching all three debates and listening to every word, it dawned on me tonight that Romney rambles, babbles, and throws in everything including the kitchen sink every time he speaks.

It is virtually impossible to get the man to shut up, and it is extremely difficult to have a conversation with someone whose cognitive process works like this.

He makes so many charges in one convoluted bloviation it is impossible to respond to them all. Try to debate one specific narrow issue, and he changes the subject 15 times.

I have to hand it to President Obama, and in fact I realized finally that the president calmly watches Romney instead of getting all defensive about one of his scatter-shot charges because he knows that if he lets the man talk, if he gives him enough rope to hang himself, he will inevitably jabber himself into incoherence.
