JFK kicked the military brass out of his office during the Cuban Missile Crisis, refused to invade Cuba, and saved the world from nuclear Armageddon.

Barack Obama seems to have fallen under the sway of the paranoid Pentagon and the nefarious NSA on accepting the keys to the White House in 2009.

Blowing things up and killing people -- and wasting billions of dollars on weapons manufacture and war -- has served only to perpetuate a bad international situation.

What is needed in the present circumstances is imagination, and our Nobel Peace Prize president unfortunately seems to have lost track of his once the generals started filling his head with nonsense.
