Brace yourselves for the coming attack on Social Security.

Remember:
Social Security is funded by payroll taxes and adds not one nickel to the deficit.

Social Security is solvent for the next 20 years.

Raise or scrap the cap on FICA earnings, and Social Security will be solvent for at least 75 years, forever if the cap is scrapped.

Increase the employer FICA contribution from 7.65% to 8.15% instead and Social Security will be solvent forever.

Right-wing fanatics and the billionaire subversives who fund their campaigns (and also fund faux journalism, faux science, right-wing think tanks, and other right-wing NGO's like ALEC) hate the employers' FICA contribution.

That is why they want to destroy Social Security.

The 1% entitled takers do not want to pay for labor.
