Corporations hate Social Security because they hate the 6.2% employer contribution. They hate Medicare because they hate the 1.45% employer contribution.

Corporations, especially corporate executives, want to stuff all of the profits workers generate into their own pockets. They complain that they are the "10% who pay taxes" and overlook the fact that they appropriate virtually all of the GDP.
