Here is how civilized human beings have "personal, caring, consensual conversations:"
You call me on the phone, tell me what you want to talk about, and suggest a few times that work for you. If I am interested in having a "personal, caring, consensual conversation" with you, we make an appointment, meet, and have a conversation.
It is absurd in this day of ubiquitous information in a dizzying array of formats to think that a woman walking into a health clinic has not heard the ravings of religious maniacs about abortion.
A woman walking to a health clinic has the right to be left alone.
Forcing her to run a gauntlet of fanatics haranguing her is not freedom of speech. It is harassment.
