Here is another of my comments that the NY Times deleted:
Editor,
Israel claims right of return for supposed descendants of people who lived in Palestine thousands of years ago, yet it denies right of return for people whose families have lived in Palestine continually for hundreds of years and still hold deeds to land and keys to houses that they themselves or their parents lived in and Zionists confiscated in living memory.
Israel waves as an excuse for its violence Hamas's wish, for which it has little means beyond an impotent desire, to reclaim Palestine "from the river to the sea," while Israel steadily builds more settlements on occupied West Bank land, expels Palestinians from their homes, walls Palestinian water off exclusively for Israeli use, and carries out terror bombing in Gaza with the highest tech, most sophisticated weaponry on the planet.
I will be terminating my subscription to the NY Times, relinquishing my coveted "preferred commenter" status in the process, the next time I have an opportunity to post early on a highly visible article about Israel.
I am an American Jew, utterly appalled at Israel's relentless ethnic cleansing of Palestine and the NY Times's knee-jerk support for it.
Next we will be reading about Israel's "final solution" to the "Palestinian question" and the NY Times blithely parroting Israel's sophistries blaming the Palestinians for it.
