Terrorist militias.

Here is another of my comments the NY Times deleted after rising to readers' pick number one.

Editor:

American police are terrorist militias.

They do not "protect" or "serve" people of color or the poor.
They enforce the social order dictated by corporations and the rich.
Their job is to intimidate, dominate, and subjugate.

American police fly into a rage if a target does not immediately submit to their aggression. This is why they gun people down. They leave their victims' bodies in the street for hours to send a message: "Talk back, and this will happen to you."

Media coverage of Michael Brown's murder endlessly cycles video of rioters looting. The message is that he was a potential looter and had it coming. The investigation will be "complicated" because cops risk their lives every minute of every day protecting affluent, privileged whites from potential looters.

I am disgusted again.

And again.
