Editor,
Police chief Jackson keeps the entire nation waiting for 6 days for the name of the shooter.
Ferguson is occupied by snipers lying on armored vehicles; solidarity demonstrations across the USA could become riots if cops start cracking heads.
The nation is debating race, police brutality, and MRAPs on America's streets.
Finally Jackson releases . . . video of Michael Brown strong-arming a store clerk for a box of cigars. The message is obvious: this petty criminal had being gunned down coming.
There are plenty of crackers who share Jackson's point of view. That one of their ilk is chief of police in a predominantly African-American town in 2014 boggles the imagination.
It's called blaming the victim: Michael Brown and the town.
Where does the injustice begin, Chief Jackson?
With Mike's theft or with his having lived isolated by white society and despised for it?
