Cutting payroll taxes on middle incomes will work the same as easy credit did to paper over declining real wages for the 99% with illusory purchasing power while the richest of the rich pocket virtually all of the economic recovery for themselves.

It is a cynical band-aid that will beggar services from food safety to public health to infrastructure to education. And of course the bill will come due for middle-income families when they can't retire.

Republicans have nothing to offer besides robbing Peter to pay Paul, and they have the nerve to market this pack of lies as prosperity. A sick, disgusting joke. All so their pals who are wallowing in more wealth than they know what to do with can give nothing back to the people who make their riches possible.
