George Bush, Nobel laureate in medicine, opposes stem cell research because it "destroys life in order to save life." But innocent civilians killed wantonly by abominable technologies whose sole purpose is to "destroy life to save life" are so neglible a cost of doing business in his "war on terror" that he doesn't even tally them.
How the NYT keeps a straight face reporting the prattling of this murderous nincompoop is beyond me.
