Would someone please explain to Donald Rumsfeld that "training, equipping and assisting the Iraqi security forces" amounts to substituting collaborators for American troops. This fuels, rather than extinguishes, an insurgency whose intent is ending the American occupation of Iraq.

Boots-on-the-ground occupation versus occupation by surrogates is a meaningless distinction, and American capitalists' wish to manage Iraq's internal affairs is not shared by the working people of this country, who are supplying the cannon fodder for this effort.
