Editor,
The MSNBC segment you ran on 11/21, in which a certain VandeHei parroted the fascist line that "faulty intelligence" not BushCo lies precipitated the American aggression against Iraq, is the height of your abdication of journalistic responsibility. According to VandeHei, "The public keeps hearing that the president lied." Yes, the public do, because Bush did.
You are fully aware that every Senator who saw the real NIE, the one with reservations and declarations of uncertainty, voted against endorsing Bush's war. And you are fully aware the second, bogus NIE that the White House cooked up for the rest of the Senate, which left all mention of reservations and uncertainty out, is what got Bush his votes.
Why do you refuse to tell the truth about the murdering lying monsters who have stolen our government? What is in it for you to deceive the American people?
