Thank you for your platitude that "globalization produces winners and losers." Here is a winner-loser trade liberalization formula I can live with.
Winners: workers, farmers, and the environment in the developing world. Losers: international investors, commercial banks, giant corporations.
I like this formula because it is predicated on sharing and it works like aid. Besides, everybody wins when poor people around the world are not tricked into becoming poorer -- because prosperity fosters peace and stability, environmental destruction is a global problem, and consumers everywhere benefit when producers in the developing world have something to sell.
The formula that enslaves billions of people and kills everything on the planet is the tired corporate hegemony model, in which losers are called winners and the most ruthless predators rule the world.
