Please ask David Ignatius to read Chapter 7, especially page 133, of "Bush on the Couch" (ISBN 0060736704).

George Bush spun Mr. Ignatius a glowingly positive tale regarding his (Bush's) attitude toward Iran, and he (Ignatius) swallowed the line, as any normal person would if spoken by any normal person. But profuse declarations by Bush of value and respect in fact constitute a hollow verbal shell and signal a coming destructive episode in which Bush will give expression to his aggressive impulses.
