Imperial overreaches have consequences. Yes, Napoleon was stupid to invade Russia, but that isn't all. His army was destroyed. Hitler's Germany was destroyed. Stay in Iraq. Leave Iraq. The consequences of invading are already in motion. The American hegemon and its autocratic allies in the Middle East face annihilation. I wonder how much of the world will descend into chaos with the United States. Heck of a job, Dub.
