Editor,
George Bush is determined to bomb Iran not because it has a nuclear weapons program -- practically speaking it does not, and the mullahs oppose having one -- but because Iran, like Venezuela, resists buying U.S. Treasury bills with their petrodollars. States that refuse to satisfy the Bush regime's addiction to credit and thus keep its bankrupt domestic economy afloat might as well have their oil spigots closed.
