Saddam should have been tried in the Hague, where a full accounting of his crimes would have revealed exactly who supplied him with the chemical warfare agents he used -- "against his own people" as George Bush delights in repeating -- and who provided him the planes with which he delivered them. Both culprits were the United States, of course.
