Trade and Prosperity.

Editor,

So-called "free" trade is good for Wall Street and apparently for the NYT, but peasants abroad working 16 hours a day for $1 and no benefits to do Americans' jobs is hardly good for American workers.

Nor is multinational corporations' rape of the Earth in 3rd world countries, where waste disposal is "free" for corporate plunderers and sickeningly expensive for the rest of the human race.
