75 years later multinationals move to Vietnam.

Your editorial page ("After 75 Years, the Working Poor Still Struggle for a Fair Wage", 6/17/08) quotes FDR's progressive maxim:

"A self-supporting and self-respecting democracy" can plead "no economic reason for chiseling workers' wages."

Your front page simultaneously reports approvingly that American corporations are fleeing China for Vietnam because Chinese labor has gotten too expensive now at 75 cents an hour.

Which is it?
