Fingering the dead guy obscures the fact the hundreds of scientists are working right now for dozens of corporations on contracts issued by the U.S. government to produce ever more horrendous strains of biological agents under the rubric of "defending" Americans against biological warfare weapons that a hypothetical enemy might create.
Many people could have mailed that anthrax around, and there are many reasons why whoever did it did -- including neocon-sanctioned field tests.
