Editor,
Will free market extremists learn from this debacle finally, once and for all that deregulating industry is a guaranteed disaster?
That "regulations" are "laws", that "laws" are meant to protect all parties' interests with impartiality, and that corporations are obliged to obey the law?
Or will "conservative" sharpies find a way to twist the facts and bamboozle Congress into inaction so that in 5 or 10 years something along the same lines happens yet again?
