Our downfall.

If George Bush had not been too busy looting the economy of the United States to do his job, 9/11 never would have happened. Now high-rolling Wall Street gamblers have finished the job, and we are in the process of handing them the keys to the U.S. Treasury.

So who is it exactly who had our downfall in mind? And have they not seen to it that our downfall has befallen us?
