Protecting who from whom?

National security was just PR for the Bush cabal, an excuse they put in play to justify their fashioning a fascist state. Why? Because giant corporations can't corner economic and political power in a democracy, and BushCo's constituency were giant corporations, not the citizens of the United States. The Bush gang was not in the least interested in "protecting" the American people. Their goal was to protect themselves and their friends from us.
