Remember the alternate reality that Biff created in "Back to the Future II" after he found the racing form that fell out of Marty's back pocket and knew in advance which horses were going to win in every race?

Rich people gambled in his casino skyscraper, everyone else was poor, the world was falling apart, violence reigned -- just like the base, venal, globally-warming world the Biffs of our moment in time have created for themselves to wallow in.
