Posterity.

All for the sake of making money for people who already have way more of it than they need. What is all this power used for? To make money.

Somewhere along the line people have got to start asking themselves what human beings are doing on the planet Earth. Do those who believe it is to maximize the GDP really believe this way of life can be sustained?

The people who lived on this continent before European gold seekers invaded them lived here for 10,000 years without messing the place up. We are a product of the biosphere, and if we don't pay serious attention to learning how to conceive of ourselves in precisely those terms, our days are numbered.

Corporations making worthless junk and marketing it with pictures of pristine fields are the wrong people to whom to entrust our posterity.
