Editor,
Crumbling infrastructure is yet one more symptom of the Reagan "revolution": government is bad, you don't get anything for your taxes, it's every man for himself. So all the greedy little grubbers used and used and used: the schools, government buildings, water systems, roads, and bridges that the Great Generation built and paid for during the 1930's. And they put nothing back -- for themselves, their neighbors, or the future of this country. Gimme gimme gimme. Take take take. That's the Reagan/Friedman/Thatcher free market brilliance that has destroyed everything that our nation managed to accomplish that was ever worth anything.
