Editor,
Capitalism at its finest. An economy designed to put as much money as possible in the hands of a few as opposed to sustaining our population as a whole.
Not everyone can be the Chief. You need Indians to get things done.
But for some reason ("force," I reckon) the people whose role is to manage a business delegate themselves the lion's share of the profits, view the people who do the front-line work as subhuman, and pay them as little as possible.
It doesn't have to be like this.
When is the last time you met someone who does what they do for a living because they love it? It is all about money, all about taking as much money as you can for yourself.
The vast majority of people want to contribute something useful to their community and live a decent life, but the people whose whole life is about money -- who control money and therefore dole out money -- make everybody else's life about money.
There are more regular people than there are capitalists. It doesn't have to be the way it is.
